Pax Ars
Wringing hands in a crucible of thought
Twisted wrists keep pace with concept
A foundation vanishes beneath a house of glass
Shattered concepts crash in cascades of clarity
The stained glass no longer tinting the sky
True light shines on my cathedral of deception
The unseen, the unknown, now no more
I am this moment, I only have this time
No longer a second chance or a god to blame
No longer a god to credit or a prize to wait
Only now to live and this life to change
No more wasted breaths
No more wasted acts
No more prayers to stone
No more chains to faith
The veil is torn and the trumpets silent
This shout only heard by the ears of man
I am human I am man. I am alive.
I am all that I am and all that I am is now.
Eternity belongs to the mindless
But the now belongs to us.
